How's your week?. Apologies, we didn't have any time yesterday to e-mail. We intended to wake up, do laundry early and clean up a little, then visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and subsequently e-mailing. We visited the monuments and it was a fabulous experience, however, on the way home we discovered that many of the trains had been shut down because of a water break. It took forever! We arrived late and had to go straight to visiting our appointments. We walked so much yesterday that we had no disturbance to our sleep last night! I couldn't think! Anyway, the Statue of Liberty was incredible! You'll love the photos that my 'son' and I took! I still have to send the other ones. Yeah, it'll be incredible to see the finished Freedom Towers. I can't wait.
Last week was very interminable because our investigator, Madelyn, blocked us on her cell phone and won't answer her bell. We're grieved but we tried our best. The thing that we don't regret is that she knew exactly what we wanted. We didn't simply want her to meet and talk with us. She needed to know if what we had been teaching her was true or not. Oh, well. Perhaps in the future she'll remind herself of the feelings that she felt. We're lacking investigators and it's hard to maintain days that are full of appointments. We simply need to maintain diligence and always work!
There's a family in the Branch that recently was sealed in the Temple in Manhattan. The Mother of Hermano Zurita isn't a member and we're going to focus on them and invite Elva to be baptized. Anyhow, there's not much to explain unfortunately.
